Horses can be prone to irritability and nervousness in unfamiliar environments (such as a new competition or training venue), which can cause them to lose concentration and focus.

Super So-Kalm powder provides three key micronutrients to help the horse remain calm and focused on its work.

Compound

Magnesium - plays many important roles in the body, including muscle function, and is an important cofactor in enzymes important in nerve transmission. A lack of magnesium in the diet can lead to neuromuscular irritability.

Calcium – works closely with magnesium and also plays an important role in maintaining proper muscle and nerve function

Vitamin B1 (thiamine) - plays a key role in the transmission of nerve impulses and in the production of energy.

Super So-Kalm also provides tryptophan, an important amino acid that can be converted in the horse's liver to produce the important B vitamin niacin.

Dosage

For horses of 500 kg: 30 g per day.

May give an additional 30 g two hours before the event.

Maximum: 60 g per day (divided over two feedings).
